[鹿丸] -- 这个智商200，随时都会嫌麻烦而放弃，喜欢观察白云，过悠闲平凡生活，像老头子一样的奈良鹿丸，一个自称从来不打女人的温柔之人，为什么他的对手们那些单打单的对手们却……却都是他不想打的半边天？
自从中忍考试开始我们越来越多地看到这个扎着冲天发的奈良鹿丸，第三场的预选赛他的对手是一位音隐村女忍者（抱歉该小姐的名字不记得了），他用影子束缚住她，利用墙的反弹将飞镖击中对方取胜。
决赛时，他极不情愿地被鸣人踢了下去，临上战场还要躺在被观众扔下的杂物中看看蓝天白云。这次的对手也是位很强的女忍者--砂隐的手鞠小姐。
在躲藏起来思考了200个步骤后他行动了，好不容易用影子束缚住对方，把对方逼到绝路上之后，思量到自己心有余而力不足，慢慢举起右手，当手鞠小姐也被迫举起右手想到"这个男人还要想干什么"时，他以一种不耐烦的语气申请弃权。当所有观众包括监考的那位老叼着牙签的上忍同志在期待着他下一个绝妙招数时惊讶不已，但就是这样的结果仍让所有人领略了他的IQ200的脑瓜，就凭这个也让他当上了中忍，那场考试中唯一升级的忍者（不包括实力超群却故意隐藏，刺探情报的木叶叛徒药师兜）
第三次，鹿丸作为中忍执行的第一次带队任务--追回佐助（这个家伙真讨厌，为了个人的复仇竟让那些同为下忍的伙伴为了他，同比自己强上好几倍的四人众打拼甚至赌上性命，不过这也让那些伙伴们激发了自己的潜能和超强意志，姑且原谅他吧。
但是让人疑惑的是下忍们可以和四人众拼的两败俱伤，而身为上忍的中忍监考和另一位老兄却被打得落花流水，真是不解啊，后话后话）这次他的对手是位艺术家忍者，用笛声杀人的四人众之一多由也小姐，鹿丸故伎重施，先躲起来打坐观察对方兼想招数。分析了对方吹笛的手指规律和自己的装备后，又是一套完整的作战计划，最后近距离搏杀时，对方多由也小姐清秀容貌以第二状态的魔鬼造型出现，鹿丸眼看着就要得手，无奈对方已是二态中，CKL是他的十倍有余，硬是把他的影子束缚一点点压了回去。
然而危急关头来救他的却是上次的对手手鞠小姐，大扇一扇像铁扇公主般把多由也扇出老远，这次鹿丸要在心里痛哭流涕地想了"幸亏我上次弃权给女人留面子，不想这也是作战一步，后会有期，不然切，这次就麻烦了，不过靠女人来救我也够麻烦的。这就是IQ200的脑子啊，别人想眼前的一步，我想的可是长久之计啊。"对于此二位女忍作战状况有待TV Tokyo继续播放。
也许鹿丸的对手为什么老是女人，观众可见端倪了吧。奈良鹿丸的IQ是200，但别忘了他是个慢性子，不像鸣人的意外NO.1，对于对手是正面冲突→陷入窘境→意外的招数加蛮力（体内九尾的CKL），最终顽强得胜，他是自信NO.1加意外NO.1，但这种作战方法也是男性为多，男忍一般就是快速冲突迅速取胜见长的，这显然还没给鹿丸想象计策的时间，他可能还未来得及躲起来打坐就呜呼哀哉了，可见作者对小鹿同志是爱护有加的，为充分展示他的超群智慧，分配给他的对手都是可以充分展示他实力的对手。另外，几次的实战我们也可以发现瘦弱的小鹿同志非但没有像鸣人一样强大的CKL，而且影子束缚也常让他用尽体力，对于迅速取胜、力大无比的男忍对手，鹿丸非但不能发挥极致还可能快速败下阵来，因此那几位女忍对手可"帮"了他大忙了，又反衬了他的才能。
或许他真的就不应该当忍者，就应该像个老头一样下将棋，参加围棋将棋天元赛什么的，不过他也会嫌麻烦的吧，整天看看白云，过着天伦之乐的日子，不过他不当忍者的话又怎么会看到那么思维缜密的作战呢，或许就是为此，喜欢他的脑瓜，喜欢他的淡漠。
