 the ting tings是英国的一个india-pop乐队。由一男一女组成，jules de martino（鼓，吉他）和katie white（吉他，贝司，鼓，主唱），他们来自 leigh.乐队于2006年成立于Salford的Islington Mill.

 Katie White实际上早在成立the ting tings之前就是一个女子组合Technical Knock Out简称TKO的成员，这个组合由Mary和其他2个朋友组成。TKO的经常表演些Steps，Five的歌曲，但是从来没有发行过任何单曲或者专辑。

<DIV align=center>他们的首支单曲That's Not My Name是在本地厂牌Switchflicker下发行的，和他们的第二支单曲Fruit Machine 一起在British radio（BBS音乐6台，有很多厉害的DJ，包括第一个放The ting tings歌曲的Marc Riley）强力循环播放.Fruit Machine是Legendre Starkie Records发行的限量500张的7寸黑胶单曲，并且只能在乐队巡回演出时才买得到. 在2007年的英国格拉斯顿伯里音乐节（Glastonbury Festival 全英国最大的户外狂欢音乐节，每年夏天举行）上有引人注目的表现，同年10月，当他们和Reverend & The Maker（英国的一个乐队）一起的大学巡演结束后，签约到了Columbia Records.稍后他们开始和Jools Holland一起亮相了。</DIV>

Shut up let me go, 刚刚看到歌名的时候,还以为是粗口歌,或者是 hip pop 呢.
