任重，1976年生，职业画家。现为宁夏美术家协会会员、银川美术家协会理事，出版有《任重工笔高士作品选》、《任重扇面作品集》、《任重花鸟画集》。幼承庭训，随父习诗文书画。对传统文化有特殊的爱好和认识，不独以画见长。其人心静如水、志节高迈，治学态度严谨勤奋。故其作品不论山水、人物、花鸟渊雅静穆，清逸高古。幼时即屡获国内外美展大奖。
