 　　Ray Peterson,他的代表作不多,這首Tell Laura I Love Her是他的經典之作.他的音域廣達四又二分之一個八度音階.1939年生於德州,少年時的他患有小兒痲痹症,住院治療時為了讓其他病患開心而開始唱歌.出院之後,先是在家鄉的一帶的俱樂部歌唱,後來前往洛杉磯打天下. 　　2005年01月26日Ray Peterson與癌症長期的奮戰終於不支.病逝於Smyrna,Tennessee家中,享年56歲.
