Pulp，英国Britpop中奇怪的成功者，1978年，乐队的灵魂人物Jarvis Cooker即成立了乐队，他们一直沉寂了整整14年，严格说，他们应该是和The Smiths一代的乐手，却直到94年的专辑《His And Hers》才为人注目，而95年的《Different Class》则真正使他们大红大紫，成为Britpop运动中的重要乐队之一。
