Jordin Sparks是American Idol Season 6的冠军，去年5月23日在好莱坞柯达剧场她最后演唱的《This is My Now》感动了评委和全场的观众，从而摘得桂冠。

虽然Sparks的这支单曲销售状况很不理想，但是主要是因为这是历来American Idol冠军单曲唯一一支不通过CD发行，而只通过digital form发行的，所以销量受到很大的影响。大家应该对Kelly Clarkson的《Because of You》非常熟悉，但是她的冠军单曲即debute其实是《A Moment Like This》，后来被Leona Lewis——英国的American Idol冠军翻唱，而后者的版本则更为大家所熟知。如果你听过Kelly的《A Moment Like This》，就会觉得销量完全没有体现出《This is My Now》的价值！
