自从蒙古国第一个R&B歌手在2005年出现之后，另一个R&B型天才BX凭借自己的努力吸引了不少乐迷。
在R&B出现之前，蒙古国乐迷普遍的只喜欢民族音乐和诗歌音乐。从2004年，新歌手带来新的风格形式，R&B,RAP等等，蒙古国流行音乐得到快速的发展（PS，这也是这个有很浓民族音乐历史的过度吸引我的地方）

However, 2005 was unmistakably the year of Bold.
His first solo single Only to You became a huge hit almost from the first time it was aired on FM. Within a week it had topped the Top Ten or Twenty charts of all radios including FM 107, FM107.5, FM102.5 and Info 105.5FM simultaneously for more than two weeks. Bold used R&B-spiced jam with vocal and pop assistance from Nominjin on the chorus, which could make the song sound more lyrical. And its lyrical melody and rhythm caused a boom.
After a long and deservedly successful reign with Only to You, songs such as Run to the Arms of Your Love, When, Your Eyes Show Love, and the album titled Power of Love became hits consecutively. Then there were some setbacks as if some of the DJs had been fed up with listening to or airing in their stations. Indeed, when it was really a rough time to pop artists to find that not their song, but any literary song topped the charts every week within the year. Bold convinced people and the media that it was not the end of pop, putting its reputation higher than literary singers. In this, the Mongolian singers owe a lot to Mariah Carey.?
Like her, Bold justified the faith people, both ordinary listeners and connoisseurs, had in him with his eight nominations at the Pentatonic Awards in December, 2005. He was the sole nomination in R&B with his three songs. At the ceremony, he said he felt literally overwhelmed with awards.
After this magic year, in 2006 Bold released his second album 440Hz and its songs such as A Key, and MB were instant hits. One number in the album, You Will Be Loving Me, was released as a single in 2007. Single-handed, Bold made R&B what it is in Mongolia today, much as Luther Vandross had done while bringing contemporary R&B to a height of popularity in the early 1980s.
With the ground prepared it was now the turn of BX to step on stage. BX?s talents make him uniquely qualified to sing in one of the most mixed music genres. Contemporary R&B includes pop, hip hop, soul, and rap, and the timber of his voice seems to change as he moves, seemingly with effortless ease, from one to another. In this way, his songs My Love, Don?t Cry and Sorrow are now original R&B examples in the Mongolian pop history even though they lost out to the number sung by R&B mogul Bold for the best R&B song category at the Pentatonic 2007.
There is a ten-year difference between the years when Bold and BX made the scene. It is only more than a year that we have been hearing both of them at the same time. Besides singing solo in R&B/pop style, Bold is a member of the first Mongolian pop/soul boy band and the second most popular pop band, behind Nomin Talst ? quartet Camerton. He began his career as pop/soul singer in 1995 while BX first appeared publicly by singing the chorus of Sak by Ice Top and S&I in 2006, but officially began his music career in 2006 with a song, Sweet girl. They are truly the face of contemporary R&B.
