Chairlift的成员组成Aaron Pfenning （作曲/电子/吉他）
Caroline Polachek （作曲/合成器）
以及Patrick Wimberly（鼓/键盘/制作）




　　Chairlift成立于科罗拉多州和搬迁到下东城在2006年，
但只是最初的组合，他们出色的新乐队来自纽约。
他们中的一部份，一个松散的独立音乐联盟活跃在布鲁克林周围地区包括：
MGMT, Yeasayer, Boy Crisis, Tigercity, Mixel Pixel 和 Apache Beat。
尽管这些乐队的风格完全不同，但Chairlift完美地融合和吸取了各类新潮电子音乐元素，
很难确定他们的音乐风格。
