　　A little over 50 people died in the tsunami in the small fishing village where my teacher Amma was born. In other places in India where there were so many more deaths, Hindus were buried in mass graves. This is very inauspicious for a Hindu. Amma gave the villagers a mass cremation. I was blessed to be there to witness greif, deep and real. Here a small boy is being torn away from his dead brother.
